Skiing success.

Two skiing successes today. First, Miss-D had her first day of ski school. She was on the hill from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. She was one tired kid at the end of the day, but her coach said she did great! He asked us to put some wax on her skis, as she was lagging her two companions on the flats, but other than that, they rode the beginner chair the whole day! Even more important, she said she had fun and can't wait for next week! Yay!

Then, Mama-V got to try out her new skis today. They are short, quick, and like to go fast, but they still did well in powder/crud and making big turns too. They will take a little getting used to, but I like them!

Now to get the powder boards mounted and find a powder day to go skiing.
