No, no one here is turning 40, nope, no way, no how.
Well, ok, Mama-V will turn 40 in 2009. And Daddy-J will turn 40 in 2010. In between, and to celebrate, we're trying to figure out a really fun and memorable trip to do together.
I found this a few days ago and think it just might fit the bill: White Room Adventure Tours.
The owners of the company live in Boulder and it sure looks like they live an adventurous, outdoorsy life, huh!?
Good thing is, we've got time to save our pennies.

Ummm, when avalanche beacons are included in the price, I'd say this is quite adventurous... :-)
