Miss-D started Karate.

Now that soccer if officially over, Miss-D has started Karate. Last year was dance. The two years before that were gymnastics. This year we're trying Karate. She is "studying" with Mr. Klekas at Bobby Lawrence Karate Studios.

She was very excited to have her first two private lessons with Mr. Klekas. She quickly learned the three rules of Karate: 1. Always obey your parents. 2. Always clean your room without being asked. 3. Never use your Karate on your sisters.

She is learning all about respect and self-control and other great concepts. Mr. Klekas is amazing with the kids (and he impresses parents too!).

Ok, so she still has some work to do on her defense pose. But what do you want -- she just started two weeks ago!
